One thing I hate is when people criticize a band for attempting something different. Mudvayne has the talent and the stamina (Like Slipknot) to stick around years after Metal reinvents itself again.Have we all forgotten about the bland hair metal of the 80's that almost killed this genre?

If not for Pantera, and the bands that followed (Like Sevendust), we would still be listening to crappy grunge musicians attempting to be the next Kurt Cobain.

i have heard it and it sounds like hellyeahthe only reason it is any good becuz of ryan the only good ones are do what you do and fish out of water and mayb the new game song but mudvayne has gone down the wrong path

I love Mudvayne for the awkward sound. The sound that made people think that they're math metal. The simple heavy guitar riff, the crazy bass line, the crazy drums and the variations in chad's awesome voice which made you feel a million ways in 3 minutes of music... but now that's not the case anymore but i still love them because the only thing that changed in the new album is that there's more guitar and chad's voice isn't that variable anymore. they still ROCK!!!!!
