On October 14th, the German Bus, a renovated school bus, retrofitted with video projection and room for 40 students, stopped at our school, offering an up-close look at the geography, history and culture of Germany. Differing from the typical classroom fare, the German Bus showed us that "German rocks" through hip-hop workshops by Rapper Bates from Thüringen (music partner of Clueso). During the workshop, which focused on the creative use of German language, the kids had a chance to perform the rap songs they composed.
