By the way, if we would have followed the Byzantines we still wouldn't be worshipping the Vatican, since the Byzantines are not in communion with the catholics. The copts are rich indeed, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated according to the law, that's our right, it's not a favour that the muslims should do for us. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, but you really don't know what ur talking about, I have seen and heard and I know there is discrimination against the copts

Suzan Mubarak is not christian, christianity was allowed in the roman empire in 313 after the Edict of Milan and mostly during the reign of Emperor Constantin. Although there were differences between the copts and the byzantines, the church survived without muslims, since they didn't exist yet. I don't deny history, but the church survives because God said so and not because some Muslim leader helped the pope.

I'm not denying that, and you are going off in tangents, what happened after you split up? The Romans came and started to chase the Pope of the copts in the desert where he met the Muslims, and because their help the Muslims re-established the copit church, this is a fact, you deny or not it doesn't change history. And of course copts are rich in Egypt, The Presidents wife is christian, they are the richest people in Egypt but they don't have the Numbers so that is why complain, why?

By the way copts are 15% of Egypt, and I don't necessarily want them to be 50%, because I believe in quality not quantity. I only want us, the copts, to be treated according to the law, which is not what's happening now. In case you haven't heard, we have been under persecution for years and nothing is being done about it. There's unequal treatment in jobs, education, lawsuits, family matters, etc. I believe in a united Egypt: Muslims and Christians.. (I don't support separatism, just justice)

Hahaha, you really cheered me up, although I'm sure that wasn't your intention. I suggest you don't talk about something you know nothing about, because the result is you make people laugh whom you probably don't want to laugh. If the copts were truly that powerful in Egypt, things would have been completely different, also we don't worship our beloved Pope. By the way we were split from the catholic church in 451 after the council of Chalcedon and before Mohammed was born. Get educated first

Of course Muslims helped found your church, if it wasn't for the Muslims all of you would have been worshipping the Vatican by now Instead of papa Shanouda and no I'm not Egyptian but I do know Most of the Wealth in Egypt is in the Hands of the Copts, they are the richest people in Egypt. They own the Banks, Hotels, and Non Descision can be made without their approval So how can you say they aren't being treated equally? maybe you meant to say You want copts to be 50% of Egypt Instead of 10%?

The coptic church was established a long time before Islam even existed. So don't say the Muslims helped found the coptic church...I don't know whether you're Egyptian or not, but if you tell me that Christians in Egypt are being treated equal to Muslims, then you are either blind or a big lyer..

There's no doubt about the fact that there were good muslim leaders, but please don't be fooled, they weren't all like that, many of them systematically persecuted and killed christians. I won't even talk about the situation in Egypt now, since it's so obvious.. I never said what they did was justified, There are some non-normal people, BUT this is not a systematic practise or something suported by the government, which happens only in christian countries, where the government does this in a systamtic bases and on a larger scale, And Please don't speak about egypt, Before Muslims came to Egypt Your Pope was Hiding from the Romans so not to be killed he came to the Muslims who helped him out and established the coptic church,
