an aerobot that swims like a fish....I've been designing and building this type for a while, but it's beginning to look very efficient. Thanks to John Piri of WEST COAST BLIMPS AND ELECTRONICS..it was originally his idea. Notice how well the horizontal fins dampen out the pitching oscillations(porpoising)observable in the previous videos (Flying Fish 1 and 2)Next experiment is to determine if a limited flexible joint at the "caudal fin" might provide more thrust due to an increased angle of incidence.
if you look closely you will notice that they are not the same but demonstrate how horizontal stBlizers smooth out the flight and eliminate the porpoising evident in one of the earlier videos...sorry about the ad at the end.....the camera software makes it hard to get rid of and I am lazy......I wouldnt take money for the ad if they offered it, would you?
